You’ve bought an item on Melltoo – you’ve been notified that your payment has gone through , and your order is in process – now what?
- Your item is collected from the seller by our trusted shipping partner within 1-2 days of the order date. We aim to get your items to you within 3-5 working days after your order.
- Within 3-5 business days after the order date, the Melltoo team and Melltoo’s shipping partners will contact you to schedule a delivery time for your purchase.
- After receiving your package, you have 3 days to confirm whether you are satisfied with your purchase – you do this ‘ in app’ and it means that the sale is satisfactory, and the seller is paid!
Important Note: If you fail to accept your order during the 3 day grace period, Melltoo will automatically accept the order on your behalf and you will not be able to return it.
Notification cycle
Buyers and sellers both recieve notifications in-app to inform them of the progress of the transaction.
Buyers receive a Melltoo app notification at the time of:
- Successful payment
- Shipment in-transit
- Shipment delivered (accept or return)
The buyer can also track their shipment on our courier partners’ websites or request the same information from a customer support representative.

Delays may occur when:
- A buyer or seller does not provide complete location info or accurate mobile numbers
- A buyer or seller does not respond to phone calls when courier is attempting pickup/delivery
Once you have completed your transaction, you will be asked to rate the seller.
Important Note: Why should you rate a seller? A review, regardless of how long it is, allows Melltoo to create a safer marketplace by promoting transparency, honesty and trust between buyers and sellers in our community.
